22 mile Twin Bridges 22
Kick off your adventure at the Farm Island Recreation Area and head out of the campground onto Highway 34.
You'll roll through gentle hills, all while soaking in stunning views of the Missouri River. As you cruise east, you'll reach the aid station at the Twin Bridges. Refuel with a snack, top off your water bottles, and then enjoy the return journey, with the river's beauty just as spectacular on the way back.
Afterward, celebrate your ride with a picnic lunch and camaraderie with fellow cyclists!
41 mile All The Way To De Grey
This route kicks off like the Twin Bridges 22. After stopping at Twin Bridges, continue your journey east along Highway 34 and then tackle the challenge of De Grey Hill. At the top, take a moment to catch your breath and marvel at the endless view. Then, enjoy the exhilarating downhill ride before heading back to Farm Island Recreation Area.
Celebrate your accomplishment with a delicious picnic lunch and share stories with other riders.
68 mile 34+34 on 34
For the ultimate challenge, the 34+34 on 34 route takes you on a ride 34 miles east on Highway 34.
Starting the same way as the Twin Bridges 22 and the All the Way to De Grey routes, you’ll enjoy the ascent to De Grey Hill - perfect for a pit stop and some panoramic views. But then, keep the momentum going as you continue eastward until you get to 34 miles. Enjoy the view of the wide open prairie and endless sky while you grab a snack and gear up for the ride back.
The return trip is just as scenic, with the open skies and Missouri River’s beauty accompanying you as you head back to Farm Island for a well-deserved picnic and a chance to celebrate with your fellow riders.
